About Me

My foodservice career began in my family's coffee shop at the age of four. I continued in the restaurant industry for the rest of my younger years. I received an A.A.S. in hotel technology from Sullivan County Community College in '80 and my B.S. in Hospitality from FIU in Miami in '83. My first corporate management job was as a Steak & Ale manager in the mid 80's. In the 90's I left operations and went into the publishing & market research end of the restaurant industry. Beginning in 1997, we began the Research Report for Foodservice. In 2004 we began the Restaurantchains.net project. We currently have thousands of subscribers to our various services. On the personal side, I met my wife in 2000 and we have a little girl.
